Ellsworth Library to Host Public Health Afternoon with Healthy Acadia

Ellsworth, ME. Healthy Acadia and Ellsworth Public Library are teaming up for a Public Health Afternoon to help more community members better understand available resources to get their vaccination and other health-related questions answered. There will also be resources available relating to MaineCare and the unwinding process. This Public Health Afternoon will take place at the Ellsworth Public Library, 20 State Street, Ellsworth, on April 27, 2024, from 12 to 2 p.m.. This event is free and open to the public.

This Public Health Afternoon event will offer community members an opportunity to connect with Healthy Acadia Community Health Coordinator, Audra Stewart-Gordon to discuss topics such as vaccinations, Mainecare (and the Unwinding process), and other health concerns. Using information from local and national resources, we will work together to find the answers you need.

There will be handouts available for you to take home regarding various public health concerns, as well as a list of various local resources to aid in getting your needs met.
