Creating Lasting Family Connections

What It Is
Creating Lasting Family Connections (CLFC) is a family enrichment program that increases communication and bonding between parents and youth, helps parents to provide a healthy family environment, and guides youth to develop personal responsibility. Parents and youth attend separate, parallel sessions focusing on topics relevant to each group’s issues and concerns.

The Goals
The goal of CLFC is that by providing parallel sessions with similar information, the parents and youth will be able to share and converse about what they learn. CLFC is structured in separate sessions in order to tailor the information and curriculum to provide each group with a more appropriate level of information and allow for peer-to-peer discussion.
